On behalf of the Fair Work Clinic, Darcy Davison-Roberts, Jaime Wong, and Luke Tang presented the research paper ‘Employment contracts with short duration or working hours: How Hong Kong’s 4-18 Rule Affects Grassroots Working Women and the Prospects for Reform’.

The paper reviews the implementation and application of the ‘continuous contract of employment’ and the4-18 Rule in Hong Kong, efforts by both civil society and public bodies to address their negative effects, and how these concepts have been interpreted by theHong Kong courts.

Collaboration with ‘Human Rights in Practice’ course at the University of Hong Kong
與香港大學“Human Rights in Practice”課程合作
The Fair Work Clinic has been a partnering organisation of the University of Hong Kong’s ‘Human Rights in Practice’ course since 2021. Undergraduate and postgraduate students support the Clinic’s capacity-building efforts through producing research and awareness-raising materials for HKWWA.
自2021年起，「勞工平權社」一直與香港大學“Human Rights in Practice”的課程合作。本科生和研究生透過為女工會提供法律研究和提高公眾法律意識的材料來支持診所於非政府機構能力建設方面的工作。
Community Outreach
in Tsuen Wan
荃灣社區的外展服務
Fair Work Clinic volunteers spent a full day conducting community outreach in Tsuen Wan to speak to local community members about anti-discrimination laws in Hong Kong.
「勞工平權社」的義工在荃灣進行了一整日的社區外展活動，並向區內市民普及香港反歧視法的相關法律。
